In the pre-dawn hours on Sunday, April 22, 2018, a fire broke out at St. Andrew’s Church in Mt. Pleasant, destroying the Ministry Center, along with The Kairos Gallery housed inside the building. Then late that afternoon, with all hope lost for the Marc Chagall exhibit on display in the gallery, the impossible occurred. One by one, the firefighters exited the still-smoldering building gingerly carrying the slightly damaged but largely intact prints and originals of Chagall’s exhibit entitled: Chagall and the BIble. In utter devastation, witness the beautiful, and in all things, give thanks.
